Throughout out the entirety of the series, it has been established that Amy is into Sonic. Taking that away takes the character away. Now, if they were to make the two siblings in the movie, ALL the games beforehand, like Sonic CD, Adventure, & Heroes, are GOING to look suspicious to newcomers. It's not a sin in the bible or Quran or vedas or whatever and it's not illegal to reupload videos on your channel and most YouTubers eventually do it atleast once in their career because of copyright issues or demonetization or age restriction

I re-uploaded my English tutorial video because it was April fool's and it got destroyed with the Ricardo prank. So deleted and waited till the April fool's update was over and re-uploaded. There's no shame in reuploading videos it's maybe the old comments on the video get lost if you care about that
