@PlayfulCandy and @Kaykat Ig not all Christians are bad but how can I see the religion favorably when the biggest deadbeats use it to feel superior to folks who are much better than them? Christianity feeds the delusions of lazy and bitter narcissists who are the biggest failures in life.

@Kaykat Good point! Just because right-wing Christians focus more on the legalism, that doesn't make left-wing Christians any less valid. I think moderates of either political leaning tend to be tolerant towards others, while extremists of either side tend to be more hostile. I know that even the revilers (the self-righteous far-right that you referenced) can be forgiven, but so can anyone they revile, and so can anyone who reviled said revilers. I don't see them getting preferential treatment.

@PlayfulCandy the left leans more towards acceptance and tolerance and empathy for others. The right typically only care about themselves but use the Bible to justify it. They pick and choose what they want to follow and they spread hate and say it's God's will or God's word. It's pretty sick. They said that everything they preach is comes from their beliefs and religion but I think they're just using that as an excuse to spread hate because God clearly states to love and accept everyone.

That's great! I'm going to be in Los Angeles on September 20th, but that's just for a day. I can probably come to Colorado sometime, but it'd just be for the weekend
