Yup, maybe they need a few years away from everyone. Charles being gone makes it easier not to hate him as much, which is much healthier.

Yup, I also hope they're doing something more productive nowadays. I think darkhorse eventually left charles, and decided to settle things like an adult. I hope even charles started growing up, since he's so close to turning 40.

When they compared you guys to Charles, that was definitely uncalled for. I personally think it's a blessing that Charles is not around anymore, because I hated him way too much. I know bashing him helped keep everyone as friends, but it was out of hate for a mutual enemy. Being able to get along without having someone to hate, that's much better.
