I really like you video! I hope you can make one for sonic 2 one day, but overall i liked how you take time to research. the time of a complete single day, hope you are doing fine! :P
I know this video is just speculation, but it's still pretty good imo. Very plausible timeline of events based on the artistic direction of each level. Are you going to do any for the other games in the series?
@Wolfhound Hey thanks I appreciate the comment. As for doing any other games I plan to do Sonic CD then Sonic 2 in the future! But depending on what people vote for I may do Sonic Adventure or Heroes. Ill try my best to make it interesting!
Also love the theory that Metal Sonic from Sonic CD is really a roboticized Sonic from a bad future.
Maybe the natural lighting in Labyrinth Zone is from crystals?
Makes sense to me. Now I'm reminded of Sonic Adventure 2 and how it would show the time for cutscenes. Sonic 1 does have a bit of story if you use your imagination for all the little details in Marble Zone and Labyrinth Zone. Heck it gets weirder if you've ever seen those early beta screenshots of Marble Zone with the flying saucers. At first glance, It's like Pompeii, maybe a volcano errupted and wiped them out. But it could also be an alien invasion. As for Labyrinth Zone, that was most likely built by the owls from the movies. I have my own theory for Sonic 2's cut zones. Wood Zone is Knothole and Genocide City was where humans once lived before a war wiped them out. Also had an idea where Tails grew an extra tail when exposed to the pink water in Chemical Plant Zone. As for Robotropolis, that can be Scrap Brain or Metropolis.
@SegaDude113 Thanks a ton for the well made comment fam! It would be cool to see what sonic team envisioned for all the zones before they had their final look and I like your idea of how the owls could play a part even tho sadly they dont seem to be canon to the games.
